Shortest Month of the Year

One month ago today we were celebrating the newness of 2010, marveling at its possibility and dreaming about what the months ahead would bring. We chose words, planned goals, and made wishes with eyes closed tight - and here we are, thirty one days later! February, welcome! You bring us an appreciation of all who are dear to us, and a reminder of what love means. This chilly winter weather will continue, but each day will host a little bit more sunshine, inviting us to daydream of spring!

The new word of this month is uncluttered. Let's do a bit of early spring cleaning and clear our minds and our homes of all the mess and rubbish that hold us back from achieving all those grand, important things that we dream of completing. We should take another look at the goals we have set for this year, setting aside whatever excuses or doubts that have crept into our minds in the past month. Renew your efforts in listening to your heart and doing what it takes to make your dreams reality. Consider February a second beginning!

PS. Just a few more tidbits I'd like to share with you:
  • I have added a little widget called "Skribit" to the right side of my blog. If you have any suggestions for posts or have great ideas, please feel free to submit them there.
  • You can follow me on Facebook here - let's be the best of friends!
  • I have been answering personal questions here. If you'd like to know anything about me, you're invited to be as nosy as you like!
  • If you haven't already, come join me on Twitter! I post lots of great links there that don't make it onto the blog.
I also wanted to mention again how very much I appreciate your comments. I read each and every single one, and though I often don't know what to say except a thousand "thank yous", I am humbled and grateful for the kindness you have shown me. This journey would not be at all as wonderful as it is without every one of you.

Uncluttered is definitely the word. I'm trying to do that right now with my desk and my thoughts and my to do list.

And I'm getting side-tracked because I just started reading all the cool questions you've been answering.
